Ritche McCormack (Team
Manager)
Occupation: Runs Bike Shop
These days, Ritchie no longer competes, but when he did he represented
Ireland in both the Manx International and in the Tour of Scotland.
Ritchie also finished 10th overall in the FBD Milk Rás.
Ritchie organises and runs our interclub league every summer, which
is great training and a good way for new members to whet their appetite. |

Berni McCormack (Team Manager)
Occupation: School Teacher
Category: Vet
Berni is the star of Ravens CRT, and our most successful rider. Having
competed as a professional in the United States, he rode the 1985 Nissan
International Classic on the Irish Team. He has also won 7 stages of the
FBD Milk Rás. Berni is still winning races as a Vet.
Anto Moran
Occupation: Systems Analyst Dept Of Agriculture
Category: Senior 2 Anto is a Level 2 accredited coach and
also a positive force behind the team. Anto’s mottos are "anything
is possible" or “from the gun”. Anto has won The staggs 3 day race last year along with 6 other races. |

Terry McManus
Occupation: Aircraft mechanic
(Presently studying Sports Science in DCU)
Category: Vet
Terry raced successfully for several years in France, and for all the
main domestic teams. He has won a stage in the FBD Milk Rás as
well as other races. | |

Graham Thomas
Occupation: Scanner operator
Category: Senior 1 Graham just keeps getting better each year.
He won in Newbridge in 98, Mullingar in 2000 and was upgraded to
1st Category, the interclub league in 2001. Then his greatest victory,
the 2002 Stephen Roche Grand Prix. What will he achieve this year?
He has ridden all of the Irish stage races including the FBD Milk

Eugene Murtagh
Occupation: Service Engineer
Category: Senior 1 Eugene initially competed from the age
of 16 until 22. During this time he won the Klondyke Cup, then disappeared
for a few years. His biggest win came just before he disappeared
again in 1996 - he won a stage and the overall in the Dunboyne
3 day. In 2002 he made a proper comeback, winning the Beggan Trophy
(Bohermeen) and was upgraded to 1st Category. He has also completed
the FBD Milk Rás in 1996 and 2002. Part of Dublin Ravens

Derek King
Occupation: Fireman
Category: Senior 2 Derek also went missing for a few years
but came back properly in 2002. Derek’s best result was in
Kilkenny in 1994 when he won, but now he is on the way to better
things. He was narrowly beaten into 2nd place on stage 2 of the
2002 Corkman 3-Day and was also 3rd on stage 3. Has also ridden
the Rás in 1996, 1998 and 2002. Part of Dublin Ravens

Paul Reid
Category: Senior 1
Paul is our designated sprinter. Not many
can match Paul in a head-to-head dash to the line. His best result
in 2003 was 2nd in Leinster Road Race Championships. Paul
has also ridden the FBD Milk Rás 6 times. Part of Dublin

Geoffrey Liffey
Age: 27
Occupation: Software Engineer
Category: Senior 2 Geoff’s cycling was, in recent years,
overtaken by his running, mainly due to the fact that he’s
been living in Canada. He ran 1.37 for the Dublin half-marathon
on his return this year. In cycling he was 7th Overall 2nd Cat rider
in the 1998 Rás and completed the 1999 Tour of Malta. Geoff
is an accredited level 1 coach, and is working on getting level
2 recognition.

John Dillon
Age: 39
Occupation: Delivery Man
Category: Senior 2 John was a late starter to cycling, taking
it up when he was 30. He started racing at the age of 34 and last
year completed the FBD Milk Rás at the age of 37, a great
achievment. John’s best discipline is the time trial - and
he is improving each year. John best result in 2004, after a
season delay by injury, came in the [ ] stage race, finishing [

Dave Walsh
Age: 30
Occupation: Journalist & Internet Consultant
Category: Senior 2 Having left the sport in 1990, it took
until 2001 for Dave to come back to road racing, via mountainbiking.
In 2002 he competed in the FBD Milk Rás, and several other
stage races. He was one of the three
Ravens riders to pick up a gold medal for the team award in the Leinster Championships 2003, having finished 7th. Check out his

| John Moran
Age: 40
Occupation: IT Consultant
Category: Vet
Came to cycling after a brief musical career. Johnny has twice competed
in the World Masters track championships in Manchester, his best
event being the kilometre with a personal best of 1.12.671.
In 2003 he has finished 9th in Dundalk, and 4th in the Kathleen
O'Sullivan Memorial.

Very good climber. Had a number of very good results last year and is just waiting on his first win.

Age: 37
Occupation: Micro Chip fabricator
Category: Sen 3
Came to cycling late but has shown great improvement last year. SHould be able to move up categories this year after a strong debut season last year.

Andrew Duffin
Age: 35
Occupation: Programmer
Category: Senior 2
The mystery man of the Ravens, sightings are rare, and are often explained
away as 'stray weather balloons'. He's into rollerhockey for the skates,
body armour and speed, windsurfing for the speed with no effort and
the jumps, and cycling for the masochism. Andrew has been racing since
the Junior Tour in 1986, and has ridden the FBD Milk Rás in
1992, 1993, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2002. |
